What to do with old electronic equipment

As we become more dependent on electronic products to make life more convenient, the stockpile of used, obsolete products grows. Extending the life of your electronics or donating your most up-to-date and working electronics can save you money and saves valuable resources.

Donate it

  1. Before you donate remove personal information from your PC.

  3. Pick a donation center:
    • RECONNECT – Goodwill Industries and Dell partnership. Goodwill Industries takes computers at Goodwill locations statewide.
    • Share the technology – List your donation or find an organization in your area.
    • techsoup Donate Hardware Web page. Plug in your zip code for listings of recyclers in your area.
