Reminder - this weekend's daylight saving time change may affect your computer

This is a reminder that Daylight Saving Time (DST) for most of the United States and Canada begins three weeks early this year on Sunday, March 11, 2007.

THIS CHANGE WILL AFFECT YOU:

if you are using Windows XP and have not applied recent updates, or
if you are using an older version of Windows (Windows 98, ME, or 2000), or
if you use calendaring software (e.g., Outlook, Entourage, Palm Desktop, etc.), or
if you have a PDA, handheld organizer or smartphone (e.g., Treo) and you use it with calendaring software.

The potential impact is that your computer's internal clock or your event calendar could be off by one hour over the next 3 weeks.
