The updates made to Blackboard the weekend of July 5-6 are complete, testing has been done, and the system is now available.

| Summary | The Blackboard Academic Suite at Wayne State University will be unavailable from approximately 11:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 5, until 8:00 a.m. on Sunday morning, July 6. During this extended period, the Blackboard Team in Computing & Information Technology (C&IT) will be applying critical updates (service packs) that will address functionality issues in the recently installed Release 8.0, as reported by Blackboard users. |

| Duration | The service pack applications will take place approximately between 11:30 p.m. on Saturday night, July 5, until 8:00 a.m. on Sunday morning, July 6. Please note that the installation of the critical updates is starting two-and-a-half hours BEFORE C&IT’s weekly system maintenance period from 2 a.m. to 8 a.m. every Sunday morning. |
