C&IT Desktop and Departmental Computing Services (DDCS)
DDCS, a workgroup within C&IT Customer Services department, provides 2nd
and 3rd level hardware and software services for:
- departmental file servers (Windows, Netware, Linux, Solaris)
- Windows and Mac desktop support (includes Banner desktop support)
- departmental computing issues: webservers, desktop management, etc.
How to Reach Desktop and Departmental Computing Services (DDCS):
- Call us
Each of the DDCS people has a different level of expertise in Windows, Netware,
Solaris, and Linux servers. They work together to provide the technical
support people on campus with high quality advice on managing their departmental
IT resources.
- E-mail us at ddcs@wayne.edu
Your message will go to all DDCS personnel. Someone will get
back to you as soon as possible.
If it is an emergency, contact Cindy Sulad,
(313) 577-9747.
In an effort to improve accessibility to our staff, C&IT's Desktop and
Departmental Computing Services (DDCS) team has established the DDCS Technical
Contacts
list exclusively for campus tech support staff. Use it to find the technical
contact person for your school, college, or division.
If the person responsible for your area does not have expertise in the requested
area, he or she will ensure that someone else from the DDCS group deals with
that problem as quickly as possible.
We know that we don't have all the answers, but we can work together to resolve
any stubborn problems. We hope that the DDCS Technical Contacts list
makes you more productive in your environment and makes it easier for you
to access C&IT services.
Join the techsup LISTSERV List

technical support people. The techsup LISTSERV list provides you with a way
to do that. Join the list today:

the command:
subscribe techsup your name
where your name is
your full name. (LISTSERV will get your e-mail address from the "From:" address
